Some children amass quite a pile of candy from their trick-or-treating efforts. It may be too much to eat in the next few weeks, even for candy lovers. According to “Better Homes and Gardens,” many different types of candies can be frozen to preserve their freshness. Fudge, pralines and caramels freeze well, and even chocolate-covered candies can be frozen with ease. Use an airtight freezer bag or container to keep frozen candies as fresh as possible and not susceptible to moisture infiltration.
